Pastoral Duties- Act as emergency backup coverage for Pastor
- Attendance at weekend liturgies
- Regular preaching as scheduled and other designated times
- Conduct Scripture/Communion Services
- Director of Stephen Ministry
- Director of Children's Liturgy of the Word
- Coordinate Baptism info and scheduling
- Coordinate Adult Education
- Conduct Bible Studies
- Assist in RCIA process
- Conduct Pastoral counseling
- Supervise Altar Services
- Supervise lay presiders for Scripture/Communion Services
- Supervise Visitation Ministry
- Supervise Funeral Luncheon Ministry
- Conduct pastoral visits to hospitals, nursing home, homebound
- Conduct Matrimonial Preparation

- Plan funeral liturgies with families

Born and raised in Boston, I taught in public schools in IL from 1973- 1979 while pursuing my Master of Education degree. I then taught in Catholic schools in NH and NYC from 1979-1986. Redirecting my teaching vocation toward Church ministry I worked for a non-profit pastoral consulting group named "The Paulist Leadership and Renewal Project" and trained pastoral leaders in the Archdiocese of Boston from 1986-1988. Then, desiring a more contemplative lifestyle, I joined a Franciscan monastic community in Arkansas from 1989-1990 and also worked at our retreat center. Next, I served as Parish Director of Religious Education in Davenport, IA from 1991-1997. After receiving my Master of Pastoral Studies degree, I chose to relocate to the Diocese of Rochester. I served as a Pastoral Associate in Corning from 1997 - 2000. In July of 2000, I joined the staff at SJR and I continue to enjoy ministering to the people of this wonderful parish!
