Please Contact Barbara Hesenius (248-5993 ext.12) to set up a date and provide additional information necessary to start preparation for your marriage. Marriage preparation will require several meetings with SJR Staff members. What is the basic schedule and agenda of these meetings? Initial Meeting with Pastoral Associate: Get acquainted, confirm your date, complete registration form. Complete the Diocesan "Prenuptial Investifation Form" determining your freedom to marry. Complete the “FOCCUS Inventory for Marriage Preparation". Receive all Marriage Preparation materials, including the “Together For Life” planning booklet for your liturgy. Second Meeting: Discuss results of FOCCUS Inventory. Determine who will be your Presider. Third Meeting: Finish discussing FOCCUS. Take home to complete "FOCCUS For The Future". Fourth Meeting: Discuss “FOCCUS For The Future". Hand-in all necessary documents. You will also have to... Meet with Music Coordinator Amy Voll for planning music/vocalists/instruments. Meet with Wedding Coordinators Lynn or Vi Tates for planning rehearsal & wedding day Contact Deacon Daniel Kinsky to register for the SJR Pre-Cana session. Schedule a meeting with the Presider no later than 2 months before wedding to discuss the liturgy. Should I do anything before the first meeting?
