Music Ministries & Concerts

Our Music Ministry provides beauty, joy, comfort, inspiration & musical prayer for communal liturgies and various parish celebrations.

ADULT CHOIR

The adult choir sing traditional & contemporary liturgical music in four parts at 11:00 mass. We rehearse every Wed. evening at 7:30 PM in church from Labor Day to June. New members are always welcome.

The Cantor Ministry comprised of women & men including high school, college students & parishioners lead sung prayer at all Masses. Training is available.

Children’s Choir (2nd—8th). We sing about once a month at different Masses. We rehearse every Wednesday evening from 5:30—6:15 PM in the Music Room of the Ministry Building.

We are an Adult Praise & Worship group with guitars, drums & flutes at 9:00 am mass. Rehearsals are 7 PM on Tuesday evenings in the Music Room.

CONTEMPORARY CHOIR

Our multi-generational Handbell Choir rehearses every Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:15 PM in the Music Room. Adults & teens welcome to join us We will play once a month and on Christmas Eve and Ash Wednesday.

Ring With Us

Resurrection Choir provides music for all the Funeral Services/Masses at SJR. It is comprised of members from all of our choirs and other parishioners who wish to participate.

Our Teen Praise Group sings Contemporary accompanied by piano, guitars, drums, & other instruments at 5:00 PM Saturday Masses. Middle school & high school are welcome. Rehearsals are 4:00 PM in the Music Room on Saturday
