We welcome the input and involvement from parishioners of all ages  regarding any maintenance or improvement projects they believe will maintain and enhance our parish campus.

This is the St. John of Rochester CYO basketball program where Faith, Family, Mind & Body are the values.  We want our players to learn the game of basketball by teaching fundamentals, team play and good sportsmanship.

SJR has a community garden. Each bed is rented for the growing season by a SJR family for private use. Please, feel free to visit the garden, walk around and enjoy watching our plants mature. We do ask that you do not pick, water or tend to any bed. Contact Amy Voll to rent a garden plot.

First Friday Book Club meets on the first Friday of the month from September until June. Selections are decided in June and discussed at meetings. All are welcome.  Contact Jane Rector at 248-5909 for more information.

The Garden Club is made up of parishioners who have a love of gardening. Our goal is to beautify the outside of all of our buildings.

Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting the Church while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life.

The Men's Club of St. John of Rochester is a faith-oriented social organization whose goal is to bring our members closer to Christ through fellowship and service.

Enjoy Fellowship and Food with donuts and coffee (lemonade and cookies outside the Church Entrance during June - August).

SJR has a Parish Picnic in September each year. Parishioners are encouraged to come and visit with each other. Each family brings a potluck dish to share. The Men's Club grills the hots and burgers. There is live music and a bounce house for the kids. The Youth Group helps set up and clean up.

Adoration is usually a quiet hour in which a small group or individual can pray traditional Catholic devotions (novenas, recitation of the rosary, etc.) meditate on scriptures or participate in quiet personal prayer.
