"The Knights of Columbus, with more than 1.8 million members, is the world’s largest lay Catholic fraternal service organization.  It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, its’ pastors, and their community.  The guiding principles of the order are Charity; Unity; Fraternity; and, Patriotism.

Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age or older, who are committed to making their community a better place while supporting their church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting the Church while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life.

This is a great time to search your closets and look at donating any unused foot-wear collecting dust.

We are looking for new or gently used shoes/sneakers/boots (men, women and children) that will be made available to underprivileged individuals in underdeveloped countries –this is opposed to discarding shoes in local landfills.

Drop your shoes off at the Gorman Room at any time during SJR office hours

The Knights will be holding a drive-up collection at the Parish Center gym doors on Saturday, Nov. 21 &

Saturday, Nov. 28th from 10-1.
