Perpetual Eucharist Adoration (P.E.A.)
Christ asked us in Matthew 26: “What, could ye not watch with me for one hour?” By keeping with Christ for an hour, we are partaking in the continuation of the Holy Mass while slowing down in our daily lives to reflect on God’s direction for our life. This hour allows Him to speak to us and provides us time to reflect on scripture, significance of the liturgical season and many other meditations provided within the Catholic Faith.
Adoration is usually a quiet hour in which a small group or individual can pray traditional Catholic devotions (novenas, recitation of the rosary, etc.) meditate on scriptures or participate in quiet personal prayer.
P.E.A. benefits greatly from the support of other groups. By taking an hour of Adoration, the members of an organization not only grow spiritually but demonstrate, to the greater community, a need/devotion to Christ in the Eucharist.
We are always happy to spiritually assist other groups as needed. If your group has a prayer intention or an event that you would like us to pray for, we will post those intentions for the adorers.
