Online Registration for
Family Formation Religious Education (ie.Summer Intensive or School-Year), Sacrament of Confirmation, and Youth Ministry
** NOTE: For the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist:
If your child is in second grade, and you are registering them for Rel-ed registration, your child will automatically be registered for First Eucharist and First Reconciliation
If you are a parishioner or non-parishioner and your child is in grade 3 or higher and has not received the sacrament of First Reconciliation or First Eucharist then please call the rel ed office 585-248-8850 or email Eileen Muoio at firstname.lastname@example.org
For parishioners who are registered at St. John of Rochester: St. John of Rochester uses ParishSOFT ( a church management platform which allows parishioner families to manage their own family information; including registration for Faith Formation programs) via a MOC ( My Own Church) account. To create a My Own Church (MOC) Parishsoft account logon, we have outlined the directions step by step below.

**If You Registered For Religious Ed Online previously,
You should already have a My Own Church (MOC) account so skip to STEP 3.
If you don't remember your userid, please call the Religious-ED office at 248-8850.
Create your MOC USERNAME/PASSWORD (PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CANNOT CREATE AN MOC ACCOUNT ON A MOBILE DEVICE)
On a DESKTOP computer, Go to https://rochester.parishsoftfamilysuite.com/Default.aspx see sample image below
Skip the Username/Password box and click on the "New User" link on the bottom left
You will be brought to the following screen
The organization should be St. John of Rochester. (Select it from the drop down.) (PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE more than one "ST. JOHN OF" PARISHES…PLEASE SELECT FAIRPORT, NY)
Create a unique User Name (please write it down : PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SYSTEM WILL TELL YOU IF your USERNAME IS AVAILABLE indicated by
Follow the rest of the screen prompts filling in your information to complete creating your MOC Account
USE your head of household’s name (last name) to create your account.
In 1 business day, you’ll receive an email message with a temporary password to use. Please check your junk/spam/trash folders, as well as your inbox. At this point, you will now have a MOC Account and will be able to access your My Own Church account to make any changes and register your child.
ONCE YOU HAVE AN MOC ACCOUNT YOU ARE READY TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR A FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM
Please follow the steps outlined below to register your child for classes. If you are having problems call the 585-248-8850 or email Faith Formation Office with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org
Go to https://rochester.parishsoftfamilysuite.com/Default.aspx and login with your USERNAME/PASSWORD
Navigate to MY OWN CHURCH page and then select the Family detail line
At Family Detail TAB And Member Detail TAB, please review/update any necessary changes to your family information. (Please note: that one person in the Member Detail, must have the role of "Head" (head of household) in order to make any updates to your family account and/or register your child for the rel.ed programs.
When family information has been verified/updated, You are now ready to start the registration for your child's Faith Formation Program
Go to the Religious Ed Tab at the Top
Second, choose On-Line Registration
Register your children and be sure to choose a first, second, and third choice for classes.
Hit Submit to complete the data entry portion of the Registration Process
(Note: Your registration is NOT complete until you pay for your registration.
To pay for classes: The fee is $90.00 per family. You will need to mail your payment to St. John of Rochester Rel Ed. Office 10 Wickford Way, Fairport, NY 14450 for your student(s) in order for your registration to be considered complete.
